I attended the University of Michigan, where I graduated with a B.S. in Biology. Upon receiving my undergraduate degree, I studied at Eastern Michigan University and received a master's degree in biology. I have experience teaching children at church, tutoring middle school and high school students in various subjects, volunteering at youth outreach programs, and helping English language learners improve their understanding of English. I truly enjoy being able to help other people.Of all the subjects that I have tutored, I enjoy biology and economics the most. The concepts of life and how it is formed as well as analyzing how people's thoughts and behaviors influence economies are both fascinating to me. However, I am also able to teach elementary and middle school math, algebra, science, and university entrance exam preparation.I personally believe that knowing the course content puts the student only part of the way on the path of success. In order to become fully successful, the student must learn how to also think critically and learn how to learn effectively. Through a strong relationship, the tutor can assess the student's learning style and help the student learn in a manner that helps him or her.When I am not working, I like watching sports, cooking, playing board games with friends, and watching movies.
